On May 12, 2021 is a scientific swearing in ceremony for Mr. Yoweri Museveni tibuhaburwa as President of Uganda.

This comes after the Electoral Commission chairperson, Justice Simon Byabakama, announced Museveni the winner of the presidential elections with 58%, beating his other 10 contestants that included:

1. Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine (NUP #People Power)
2. Nobert Mao (Democratic Party)
3. Patrick Amuriat Oboi (Forum for Democratic Change)
4. Mugisha Muntu (Alliance for National Transformation)
5. Gen. Henry Tumukunde
6. Joseph Kabuleta
7. Nancy Kalembe
8. Willy Mayambala
9. John Katumba
10. Fred Mwesigye
